So in my DCG (Designing Computer Graphics) class, I was assigned to create an icon set. Like a set of icons that you would see at a zoo, or an airport, or the olympics or whatever. So all of the icons that we made had to have a certain style to them, and then we had to put them into a container of some sort. And then we had to compose them somehow into a display. So this is what I created....
I wanted these to look like the directional signs that you would see at a zoo, and I arranged them onto a pole, for obvious reasons! Anyway, there were three prizes for the top three icon sets in the class, and I was one of the top 3! So that was pretty exciting! And this is what i won.....
So, the moral of the story is....make good icons, so you can become a good ninja!

the icons here are really nice. What sort of enviroment would you visualize these type of "signs" being displayed? Any type of zoo? or something specific?
ummm....im not really sure...i wanted them to be these kind of mean looking animals...definitely not your average children's zoo. haha!
