Master Peesh

Here's a painting that I did for Digital Arts and Design. we're learning about colors; tint, tone, shade, etc. my instructor told me that if i added a background, it would be a "strong piece". haha...i think its funny when people refer to paintings as "pieces". it just sounds so fine-artsy to me.

oh, and the yellow-ish parts are actually gold paint...and it shines in the light! id say its wicked sweet if you ask me!

I like it. And I say F the background.

Great work, I like the messy brush strokes you used instead of a clean cut outline. Painting is hard...........................

see...i dont necessarily think there should be a background either. there's some great white space in there that i dont think i could part with.

but if i were to have a background...i'd probably just put some guys head on a stake with blood dripping down....i think that would work well with the overall theme of the painting. or maybe thats too maniacal?
